Shannon Dittemore

Here you go! The cover for Broken Wings, the second book in the Angel Eyes trilogy. Now, before you go all Dory on me (shiny, shiny!) be sure to scroll down. Giveaway details are below the cover.

I’m not going to share the synopsis just yet cause it’ll ruin Angel Eyes for those still reading. But the cover is gorgeous, right? I can say that because I had zero hand in designing the thing. It’s super different from AE, but goodness, it’s pretty.

In honor of all the shiny, I’m going to give away the audio book of Angel Eyes which is narrated by award winning voice-0ver artist, Cassandra Campbell. To win, leave a comment and tell me this:

Do you believe in angels? Why or why not?

I’ll pick a winner next Wednesday, June 20th.

    Gorgeous cover!

I definitely believe in angels. They’re something I grew up learning about in Sunday school and church. My mom also told me that she saw an angel in my room one night when I was younger, watching over me. Truly amazing!

    Thanks for the giveaway!

Definitely! There have been too many close calls whether it was an almost car accident where there had to be something protecting me, or when my daughter could have been hit by a car while bike riding. I’ll tell you about them at our next meet up. Congrats! Angel Eyes kept me thinking after I read it 🙂 Can’t wait for Broken Wings!

I love the cover Shan! It needs to hurry up and be February already! Can’t wait to not only see the cover live and in person, but read the book as well!

Oh my goodness what a beautiful cover! Is the synopsis on Goodreads yet? I’ve read Angel Eyes so I’m quite curious to know how everything plays out 🙂
I don’t actually believe in angels – I’m one of those people who have to see it to believe it – but I enjoy reading angel-related books (:

Yes, I do believe in angels, I do believe in angels! There are many types of angels with different tasks. We do not turn into angels. They were created before we were created.
I believe some of them walk among us daily and intervene when appropriate. I need to get Angel Eyes, Book 1 .

I need the synopsis! Goodreads hasn’t posted it yet :/ I need to know what happens! I really enjoyed the first one and this one is a wee bit different but it still seems to capture a point. 🙂
I actually do believe in angels but not the ones with wings. It’s more like.. yeah, I can’t really explain it in text 😛

Cover art looks wonderful. Can’t wait for my t-shirt and copy of Angel Eyes. Glad book 2 is coming along well.

I absolutely believe in angels. I believe I was saved by an angel from drowning when I was 15. I was in Cocoa Beach, FL with my mom, playing at the beach. I was playing in the ocean, jumping into the waves. Before I knew it the riptide pulled me far from the beach. What’s worse, I couldn’t swim. I was splashing around trying to keep my head above water. There was no one around. Suddenly a man was right there. I mean, within seconds, someone was right next to me with his strong arm around me. He pulled me to shore. I spit out some water and coughed on the beach, but when I looked up to thank him, he was gone. The beach was totally empty. Sounds crazy but it really happened! 🙂

I believe in angels, because the Bible says they exist. And I believe people have seen angels, because the Bible tells us that’s happened, too. Sometimes, though, I tend to be skeptical of people who tell me they’ve personally seen an angel. I know it still happens today; I guess I just tend to be a doubting Thomas. 😛

LOVED Angel Eyes. I do believe in Angels as the Bible clearly shares with us that they are real. I loved your book and can’t wait to read the second book in the trilogy when it becomes available. It would be a delight to win an audio copy. Blessings to you as you continue to write such great work!

Shannon, i believe in angel, the bible tell us about angel, the good one that is God helpers and the ones that were cast out and are with the devil. Your cover has a mystic about it.

I love the cover! I cannot wait for it to come out-just finished Angel Eyes and am already addicted!! The cliff hanger leaves me with many unanswered questions… 🙂

  • Comment by Shan — July 25, 2012 @ 12:03 pm

Thank you so much, Jenisa! Yes, I’m rather fond of the cliffhanger. 😉

  • Comment by Mackenzie T — August 3, 2012 @ 9:49 pm

I’m dying inside!!! Why!?!? Why must you end the book like that?!?!? I almost cried! I’m having a love hate relationship with that cliffhanger. Honestly though, you are an amazing author and know how to perfectly tug on heart strings and keep a reader interested. I don’t think I can wait until February though so I’ll be rereading Angel Eyes many times! Can’t wait for more! Thank you for being an amazing writer!
